So we (a few friends and I) had an interesting "Asian" experience on Monday.
First we hit up out typical Asian market and tried a couple of new things. Every time we go there we each buy something new so we can try a lot of new things. Nothing too crazy this time, some new deserts and a new drink. Oh and we had a dried fruit assortment which was interesting because we didn't even know what we were eating. It was pretty good though!
Then Claudia and I decided that if we were in the heart of such good Asian food (there are a ton of different restaurants around that area) we had to go to an Asian restaurant for dinner. We decided on a Chinese food restaurant that was super busy so we figured it must be pretty good . So we didn't really know how it worked so we just followed what other people tended to be doing. Thankfully the menu was partially in English so at least we sort of knew what we were ordering. They brought out our food and we realized we had only chopsticks and neither of us knew how! We just did our best and eventually got some food in our mouth! Haha! We decided to go for the experience at not bother to ask for forks, we will never know if they actually had any or not. We definitely got better with the chopsticks as our dinner went on. It was quite the delicious dinner! It was quite an experience though, I had a lot of fun, and it is one that we will never forget!
Cheers,
Val :)
