Wonderful Weekend

I had a wonderful weekend this weekend! It was super busy! My roommate Katelyn had some friends in from out of town so I played tour guide for a lot of the weekend and got the opportunity to see a lot of the sights I haven't yet.

Friday night I did a lot of homework because I knew that I wouldn't have a lot of time over the weekend and then we just hung out and watched Love Actually. Cute movie! :)

Saturday we got up and took the walk to Bondi Beach. It was absolutely gorgeous! We then spent most of the day enjoying the weather and laying out at the beach. Saturday we went out for a night on the town with a bunch of friends and had a good time.

Sunday we woke up, went downtown and spent the day there. We went to the aquarium in Darling Harbour, walked around, went to a market in The Rocks (it was huge!), and then went to Pancakes on The Rocks. The market goes on for blocks and it is just like a flea market (grandma and grandpa you would love it!). I have never seen a market this big, and with this much variety of stuff. I found a ring I really liked but it was sterling silver and $50 and at this point I don't have that much money to be spending on a ring. We went to a licorice stand and the guy was just giving us sample after sample. We tried 5 or 6 different kinds and it was wonderful! They were very unconventional kinds too. We tried cola, strawberry and creame, and a combination of apple, pear and peach. Crazy! This time at Pancakes on The Rocks I got a breakfast. Pancakes, sausage, eggs, and grilled tomato. It was delicious! Gosh I love that place!

All in all it was a wonderful weekend and is the type of weekend that make me realize how much I enjoy this place! :) I miss everyone at home SO MUCH but I am trying to live it up while I'm here for just this short amount of time. It will go past incredibly quickly... I have already been here for over a month! Well I hope everything is going great for everyone! Keep me in the loop!
